Honeywell is an advanced technology manufacturer specializing in aerospace, buildings and cities, chemicals and materials, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and industrial manufacturing.

Get a glimpse into the state-of-the-art Spectra® fiber production manufacturing facility on June 12! Spectra fiber is an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber that has been trusted globally for decades. Pound-for-pound, it’s fifteen times stronger than steel and more durable than polyester. Used when lightweight strength is critical, Spectra fiber can be found in industrial, ballistic armor, and medical applications. The plant employs 276 people. After the tour, participants are invited to stay for a catered lunch.

Tour Attendee Details

• At check-in, you must have a photo ID (driver’s license or passport).
• Attendees are required to provide and wear safety-toe shoes with non-slip soles.
• Attendees are required to provide and wear safety glasses.
• Sleeves must be at least 2 inches off the shoulder, and long pants are required.
• No watches are allowed.
• No dangling earrings (studs are permitted). Plain wedding bands are allowed.
• No hoodies or hoods.
• If your hair is below the neck, it must be put up.
• Cell phones are not allowed in production areas.
• Visitors must be at least 18 years old.
