Founded in 1995 by Mike Daugherty and his daughter, Wanda Klein, InterSpan, Inc continues operating as a family owned business. The principals of InterSpan, Inc. Mike Daugherty, retired, after over 40 years as a Human Resources and Production Consultant. He served as: Chairman of the Virginia Manufacturer's Asssn., Human Resources committee' founding member of the Chesterfield/Hopewell Chapter of the Personnel Manager's Assoc.; and as a member of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Committee on Management Relations. Wanda Klein, PHR, Founder and Vice President is a UVa accounting graduate, a certified Professional in Human Resources, and a member of the Society of Human Resources Management. Wanda presents an analytical/qualitative perspective based on her unique blend of Human Resource and Accounting Management experience over the past 30 years. Mike Daugherty, Jr. President, is a Virginia Tech graduate with a B.S. and a Masters Degree in engineering. After a career as a consulting engineer, he has been guiding InterSpan for over 22 years and is a Certified Staffing professional with the American Staffing Association.
