Virginia Air Permitting (VAP) Certificate Workshop 

What is the VAP Certificate?
A first-of-its-kind interactive, fast-paced continuing education (CE) program of 12 contact hours with Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) instructors and industry collaboration. VAP Certificates will be issued jointly by DEQ and the VMA's Manufacturing Skills Institute (MSI). CLE credits are pending approval.  

What will you learn? 

• Air Permitting in Virginia, including the Virginia Minor New Source Review Permitting Program 
• Permit case studies, hypotheticals, and best practices 
• Relationship building with regulators

$300 – Event Registration 

Daily Schedule

• Tuesday, 5/14:
  • Instruction: 9:30am-5:15pm (lunch included)
  • Happy Hour: 5:15pm-6:30pm
• Wednesday, 5/15:
  • Instruction: 8am - 2pm (lunch included)
  • Testing: 2pm-3pm (bring your own laptop to access the testing platform)
