Description

A statewide employer advisory group is being organized for the Virginia Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program to guide skill-gap validation, apprenticeship work-process development, and related technical instruction. We are inviting employers have expressed interest to meet on the issues of apprenticeship programs in Virginia.  This is the first of three Employer Advisory Group meetings and we welcome additional participants after the group is seated in October.  

Scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2026, this 90-minute virtual session will validate needs-assessment findings and the proposed occupational focus before curriculum design begins. Participants will review the apprenticeship model, provide employer feedback, and determine how they want to participate.
