Hosted by the Women in Manufacturing (WiM) Virginia Chapter, STIHL is opening the doors of its Virginia Beach battery manufacturing facility for a special guided plant tour. Guests will see firsthand how STIHL designs and manufactures high-performance battery technology bringing innovation, automation, and quality control together at scale. Whether you’re interested in advanced manufacturing, energy storage, workforce development, or simply want to see cutting-edge operations in action, this tour promises an engaging and informative experience. 

Space is limited—don’t miss your chance to go inside one of the region’s most impressive manufacturing operations.

• 10:00 AM – 10:15 AM: Welcome & Overview
• 10:15 AM – 11:00 AM: Battery Plant Tour
• 11:00 AM – 11:10 AM: Drive to Administration Building
• 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM: Networking & Group Photo

Guest Reminders

• Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes for the plant tour.
• Firearms are strictly prohibited on-site.
• Photography is not permitted inside the plant; however, a designated area will be available for group photos.
• Due to machining operations in certain areas of the plant, we need to know if any guests have a pacemaker. If someone in the group does, please make a note so we can ensure they do not enter that portion of the tour.
