    Cost to attend – $25.00

    This tour will give guests a glimpse into Goodyear’s Danville, VA, plant – the largest Goodyear truck, bus and airplane tire production plant in North America. The Danville facility opened in 1966 and is spread over 710 acres. The tour will include the tire production process from raw rubber to the curing process, mold and inflated forming the tread and tire identification information as well as storage and shipping.

    Guest information/safety guidelines:

    • Visitors must wear flat, closed-toe, closed-heel shoes and long pants.  
    • Long hair must be secured. 
    • We will ask that all jewelry be removed before going on tour. If jewelry can’t be removed, it will be covered.
    • Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
