Join WiM Virginia for a Gerdau Petersburg Steel Mill Tour & Networking Lunch event!

This tour will offer a glimpse into a structural steel and steel sheet piling manufacturing facility. Guests will tour melting, casting, and hot rolling operations, the product finishing area, and the quality testing lab. After the tour, participants are invited to network with others and enjoy lunch. 

The Petersburg Mill opened in 1999, and is located near I-85 in Petersburg, VA. This facility produces hot rolled wide flange beams, h-piling and uniquely designed z-shaped piling products. It's central location and rail loading capabilities allow for ease of shipment throughout North America.

Attendee Requirements

• Must have photo ID.
• Closed toe shoes must be worn on the production floor. Open-toed shoes or heels are not allowed.
• Long pants must be worn. No shorts, skirts, capris, sweatpants or yoga pants.
• No earrings, rings or necklaces.
• If your hair is below the neck, it must be put up.
• Cell phones are not allowed in production areas.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
