Rachel Jones

       Before joining AdvanSix as Vice President of Public Affairs & Sustainability, Jones was appointed by Governor Youngkin to serve as Deputy Secretary of Transportation, overseeing the movement of people and goods by rail, air, water, transit, and roadways, opening Virginia to economic opportunity by creating access to regional, national, and world markets.

       Prior to joining the Governor’s office, Jones was Vice President of Policy, Energy & Resources at the National Association of Manufacturers, where her relentless drive made her a powerful advocate and a respected voice on Capitol Hill, at federal agencies, in the courts, around the states, and across all forms of media.

       When Jones first came to Washington, DC, she served as environment and energy counsel in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.

       A talented dressmaker, sous chef, and horticulturalist, before joining the practice of law Ms. Jones spent over a decade as a small businesswoman.

       Jones has a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma Baptist University, graduated as Valedictorian from University of Tulsa College of Law, and is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court and Virginia Bars.
