The Virginia Manufacturers Association (VMA) is the designated Registered Apprenticeship Industry Intermediary with the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) for the Manufacturing and Supply Chain industries. Its workforce development division, the Manufacturing Skills Institute (MSI), works in partnership with VMA to help employers develop and expand Registered Apprenticeship (RA) programs by providing technical assistance, industry expertise, and financial incentives to offset program costs.
