Join VMA directors at noon on Wednesday, May 20, for the next Member Advantage Hour: VMA Services Series. This webinar is an opportunity for your team to get plugged in to the programs, benefits, and initiatives the Virginia Manufacturers Association has delivered for more than 100 years. 

Building Virginia’s Manufacturing Workforce Through InternshipsVA 
On May 20th, we will be joined by Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP). They will discuss a statewide initiative called InternshipsVA, which is making it easier for employers to launch or expand paid internship programs. The program helps Virginia companies connect with college students seeking hands-on experience while providing financial support to offset the cost of hiring interns. Through InternshipsVA, eligible employers may receive reimbursement for up to 50 percent of an undergraduate intern’s wages, helping reduce the cost of developing a future workforce.
