MEB/Plasser American Plant Tour: Inside the Future of Rail Manufacturing
Join Plasser American and co-host MEB for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Plasser American’s newly transformed manufacturing campus in Chesapeake, Virginia. Known globally for designing and building specialized railway track maintenance machines—from tamping and ballast cleaning to stabilization and track renewal—Plasser American has completed a major full-campus upgrade to support the next generation of North American rail infrastructure.
Guests will explore the brand-new 45,000-square-foot headquarter building and 82,400-square-foot assembly and warehouse expansion, featuring two expansive 80-foot-wide, high-bay assembly halls and four newly installed rail tracks with service pits—all designed to improve efficiency, safety, and scalability.
Attendees will gain firsthand insight into how complex rail equipment is manufactured, hear directly from the project team about challenges and solutions, and see how thoughtful design and construction are powering Plasser American’s future. This is a rare opportunity to experience a cutting-edge industrial facility built to keep North America’s railways moving.
